Yvonne Wendell

Yvonne R. Wendell 89, of Fulton, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 24, 2021.

Her two daughters were by her side. She is preceded in death by her late husband Lynn L. Wendell and her first-born daughter Marcella (Marcy) Lynne Wendell. She is survived by her two precious daughters Gwendolynne Claire Wendell and Barbara Anne Wendell of Fulton, Texas. Yvonne was born in San Antonio, Texas but lived out her life in Fulton, Texas.

Yvonne's love of cooking for family and friends gave her so much pleasure and she loved to see their reactions to her cooking. She was a happily retired real estate agent. She enjoyed finding the perfect home for her clients. She so enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and looked forward to getting together with the "Birthday Group".

She always knew that everyone had their own path to walk in life and had their own crosses to bear so she always kept that in her mind with family, friends, and strangers. She always wanted to be a living example of God's love. It worked because the light within her shone brightly until her death. She said that no matter what trial you are going through in this life, to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for he will guide you, to read your bible for the answers that you are seeking.

She lived a very full life and knew how precious every life was and tried to live each day by example. She loved her family and treasured all her friends that she made throughout her long life. Her love of scripture and the Lord Jesus Christ kept her praising every day that she was here. It was shown by her love and compassion to everyone including animals. She loved her two kitties, Donny, and Sweetie Pie. There are not enough words to fully describe her and all the wonderful and selfless things she has done in her long and amazing life.

Mom, even though your radiant light has left this world, your precious family and treasured friends will carry your light within us till we all meet again on the other side.

We love you and miss you.

A "Celebration of Life" gathering will be announced later to family and friends.
