Wilda D Cole, 86, of Portland, TX, passed away on August 28th, 2021. She was born in Joes, CO on the family farm on April 4th, 1935 where she was raised by her parents Alice Nowak Davis and Vida Leslie Davis. She was married to Milton B Cole Jr. on July 13th, 1968. Wilda graduated from Central Business College of Denver and worked as an Executive Secretary at Gates Rubber Company for 14 years. They had 4 children and chose to raise their family in Evergreen, CO in the Rocky Mountains and Wilda was a full-time stay-at-home mother for 16 years until returning to Gates as her children entered High School. She retired from Gates and then started a new career with the Evergreen Fire Department. Eventually, she retired from the Fire Department and moved to Portland, TX where she cared for her daughter full time and enjoyed her grandchildren. Wilda had a loving servant's heart and would do anything for her family. Wilda attended Oakridge Baptist Church in Portland, TX, and when able attended Sunday School class with many of her beloved friends. She enjoyed gardening and loved roses just like her mother. Her passion was caring for her family. Wilda was preceded in death by her spouse, Milton B. Cole Jr. She was survived by her children Tamara Perez (who passed 5 days

after her Mother), Sonja Redding (Chris), Milton B Cole III (Shelley), and Brenda Bokusky (Bryan E.). Grandchildren Sara Phillips, Darrel Schiemenz, Tandy (TJ) Gray, Bryan T. Redding (Karina), Shania Barrett (Logan), Austin Cole, Abigail Cole, Bronner Cole, Christina Bokusky, Bryan S. Bokusky (Cassidy), and Mitch Bokusky. Great Grandchildren: Tyler Phillips, Delaney Phillips, Gemma Kate Bokusky and Malcolm Thomas Redding. She was survived by all 5 of her siblings: Darrel Davis. Leslie Davis, Jerrold Davis, Margaret Schulte, and Alice Matlock.
