Wade Callam

Wade Franklin Callam, 79, passed away December 31, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Hampton Callam and mother, Frankie Hall Callam of Baytown, Texas.

Wade will be remembered with love by his wife of 53 years, Johnnie Gyles Callam; sons, Kevin Wade Callam (wife Polly), Christopher Gyles Callam; grandson, Jackson Wade Callam; sister, Connie Callam Seegmiller; brother, James Hampton Callam; cousins, nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, in Baytown, he served in the United States Navy for four years then attended Stephen F. Austin State University. He obtained his Commercial Pilot’s License and flew charter flights from a private company in Houston. Wade became a Game Warden for the State of Texas and was assigned to Rockport. He then became Manager of St. Charles Bay Hunting Club for the next 26 years. He will be so missed by his family and friends.

A family graveside service is planned at a later date.
