Burial will be held at 10 a.m Thursday, August 5,2021 at San Ignacio Cemetery.

Our Heavenly Father called home Trinidad Herrera Jr., 80 as the early evening sunset fell on July 25, 2021. He passed peacefully surrounded by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loving wife Paula Herrera.

Born on January 19, 1941, in Gregory, Texas, Trinidad was the son of the late Trinidad Herrera Sr. and Fidela Villarreal.

At a young age Trinidad learned the value of hard work and perseverance. He had a lifelong career in concrete construction, eventually establishing his own concrete family business with his children. He enjoyed going to work with his family surrounding him. For him work was never work, it was always a family gathering. When Trino was not working he would pass the time watching westerns (Gunsmoke and anything with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood). He found joy through the simple things in life; like having barbecues for his friends and family; taking late night trips to whataburger for b.o.b., cruising around town with his beautiful wife who he adored and cherished, and listening to mariachi's playing or Spanish corridos. Trino was a very accepting man, he never once judged a soul he created priceless memories that will live on for generations to come.

In heaven he will be welcomed by his parents Trinidad Herrera Sr, Fidela Villarreal, and siblings, Margarito Herrera, Valentine Herrera, Edward Herrera, Aurora Castillo, Angie Perez, Son in law Alberto Flores, and grandson in law Wesley Carter.

Trinidad is survived by his sister Elisa Martinez of Weimar, Texas and his loving wife of 58 years, Paula Herrera. They were married in Wharton, TX in June of 1963.

Trinidad is lovingly remembered by his children Lou Perez (Roy), Trinidad Herrera III, Amanda Herrera (Angela), Paula Flores (Alberto), Carmen Herrera (Homer), Gavino Herrera (Mandy), Fidel Herrera, Geneva Herrera (Jerry), Daisy Herrera, Paul Herrera (Rachel) all of Aransas Pass, TX; along with 18 loving grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday July 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Prayer Service recited at 7:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Following a burial at San Ignacio Cemetery.
