Steven Lee Taylor of Ingleside, Texas passed away at age 56 on Monday, August 30, 2021. Born into a strict military family at Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 20, 1965, Steve grew up moving every few years all across the United States and overseas in France and Japan. As a young man, Steve trained in the culinary arts and began his career at a butcher shop in Santa Maria California. He was a gifted chef and took great pride in sharing his abilities with customers, friends, and family. At virtually every restaurant he worked, he built lasting friendships and would wind up in the lead kitchen management positions. He had an enormous selfless generosity and genuinely cared for others and kept a positive attitude despite a lifelong battle with diabetes. Steve had a keen imagination and outgoing spirit and enjoyed many passions like Paintball, Cooking, Video Games, and anything adventurous.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Lee Taylor of West Virginia, and his father, Richard Thomas Taylor, Sr of Pennsylvania. He was survived by his brother, Richard T. Taylor II, and sisters, Tina L. McCasland, Lola D. Taylor, and Sara (Joshua) Ligman, his nephews, James (Ashley) Taylor, Kyle (Sondra) McCasland, and Robert (Brianna Gentry) Emberton and his niece, Brandy Ligman, is great-nieces, Mirium Campbell, Grace Taylor, Hailey Taylor, and Zalee Gentry and his great-nephew, Oliver McCasland.
