Shirley Ann Oliver-Buchhorn

Shirley Ann Oliver-Buchhorn, age 67, entered the arms of Jesus on November 17, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born July 23, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas to Steve and Helen Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved sister, Linda Emery.

Shirley loved the Lord and loved her family. She was an example of what grace and mercy looked like. Her life was a living example of her love for Christ. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and spoiling them rotten. She also enjoyed playing games of all types, reading and studying the Bible, and watching Hallmark movies.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Walter Buchhorn of Rockport, brother, Floyd Clark (Kay) of Rockport, her daughter, Krystal Guerrero (Adam) of Rockport, stepchildren, Dale Buchhorn (Peggy) of Flour Bluff, Ronald Buchhorn (Elaine) of New Braunfels, and Dawn Buchhorn of Rockport. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Kayla Young, Sterling Buchhorn, Chandler Young, Brody Guerrero, and Annika Guerrero and numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held with family present from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home located at 814 E. Main St. in Rockport, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Rockport, 1515 N Live Oak Street, Rockport, Texas.
