Russell Louis Granier passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on October 26, 2019 at the age of 87. He was born October 7, 1932 in Berwick, Louisiana, to Leonard and Bertha Verette Granier. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a long time member of Landmark Apostolic Church. He loved his church family and Pastor W. Riley. He was a member of the United Houma Nations Tribal Indians. He was a loving husband to Mildred for 66 plus years. He loved his children and instilled many great values in them, the most important being a love for God and putting God first in their lives.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Granier; parents, Leonard and Bertha Granier; brothers, Leonard Granier, Earl Granier, Roy Granier; sisters, Mary Lee Crochet, Lydia “Dee” Sons; daughter, Jenny Lynn Granier; granddaughter, Shaylin Ourso.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Debra Malcolm (Jesse), Janice Granier both of Aransas Pass, Texas; sister, Nell Naquin seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m.-9:00p.m Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral Service conducted by Pastor W. Riley will begin at 10:00a.m. October 31, 2019 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
