Rumaldo W. Trevino passed away May 22, 2022 at the age of 85. He was born November 26, 1936 to Candido, Sr. and Jesusa Trevino.
Rumaldo retired from HEB after 31 years and he also worked at the Aransas County Public Library for several years and was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Rockport. He enjoyed spending time with his family and dancing with his wife. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Emma Trevino, Guadalupe T. Green, Sylvia T. Rodriguez; brothers, Candido Trevino, Jr., Pablo Trevino and Alfredo Trevino.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 58 years, Alicia Pena Trevino of Rockport; children, Roel Trevino (Deanna) of Ingleside, Leticia Lara (Lawrence), Laura Trevino (Lorenzo Trujillo) and Linda Trevino all of Rockport; sisters, Yolanda Trevino of Rockport, Mary Alice Sanchez of Katy; grandchildren, Roel Trevino, Jr., Miranda Trevino, Amanda Trevino, Jacob Trujillo, Brittany Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Jeremy Sierra, Yvonne Sierra, Estacia Lara, Sayge Lara; great-grandchildren, Alexia Herrman, Kyson Moya, Leo Xavier Garza, Avery Wright, Adriana Trujillo, Sienna Kearns, Felicity Sierra, Xavier Sierra, Julius Sierra, Jevin Sierra, Mateo Lara, Malaki Lara, Xavier Trevino and Kayden Trevino; a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with Holy Rosary recited at 7:00p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 by the Very Reverend Raynaldo Yrlas, Jr. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
