Roy Williams

Roy Lee Williams, 91, passed away June 23, 2020. He was born May 29, 1929 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Frank and Florence Williams.

Roy proudly served in the United States Coast Guard from 1951 till 1955.

Roy held a, Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston and a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Illinois. He was as a Professor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology at the University of Houston until his retirement.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 54 years, Louise Williams; four sons, David Lee Williams; Richard Earl Williams; John William Williams and David Alan Williams; one daughter, Marieta Ann Williams; one sister Carol Todd.

Roy will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him and his memory will live forever in our hearts.
