Roy Shetters

Roy Edward Shetters, Sr. of Ingleside, Texas passed away on November 23, 2019. He was born March 10, 1934 in Cowan, Tennessee to Henry and Ruby Clark Shetters. He proudly served in the US Army, he was a prior resident of Tennessee and moved to Texas 1958. Roy moved to Ingleside in 1972 and was a retired Shrimp Boat Owner and Commercial Fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Teresa Shetters of Ingleside; sons, Chris Martinez of Corpus Christi, Roy E. Shetters, Jr. of Ingleside; daughters, Teresa Benavides (Oscar) and Paula Martinez of Corpus Christi, Michelle Rojas (Ricardo) and Adelita Moncevias (Pedro) of Dickinson; sisters Betty and LInda; nine grandchildren, even though Willie Blandon was a grandchild, he was raised by Teresa and Roy as their own son.

A private family service will be held.
