Ronald Von Heuvel

Ronald Dale Von Heuvel, loving son, brother, father and friend and life-long resident of Rockport, TX died unexpectedly on January 7, 2020, at the age of 61 in a work-related accident.

Ronald is survived by his daughters Jessica (Eugene) Lenhardt; Vanessa Ferguson; grandchildren Faith & Joshua Lenhardt and Coleson Ferguson; his sister Tammy (Von Heuvel) Hahn; his nieces and nephew Misty (Sayers) Newman, Jason Sayers and Laycee Von Heuvel and beloved great nieces and nephews; his long-time girlfriend and companion, Kim Beal and many life-long friends.

Ron was born in Rockport on December 14, 1958 to Ive Delbert & Rosalie (Hayes) Von Heuvel. He graduated from Rockport High School and worked in the oilfield and construction industries all of his life. Ron was a devoted father and friend who never met a stranger. He loved trying new things and met many new people along his journey. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. After the passing of his father, Ron spent many years caring for his beloved mother. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Sunday, January 12th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Walden at 399 N. Walker Road.
