Robert Konvicka

Robert E. Konvicka, 83, passed away July 19, 2021. He was born November 24, 1937, in Aransas Pass, Texas to Emil Konvicka and Mary Catherine Linhart.

Robert served two years in the Army and during his time in the service, he was in Korea. He worked in his dad’s barber shop as a shoeshine boy, and he also worked for the Rockport Yacht and Supply company, and OSHA. Robert was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Robert married Lois In June of 1966.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lois Konvicka; his parents; and a brother.

He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Thomison; a son, Robert Konvicka Jr.; two grandchildren; Bobby Thomison Jr., Michael Thomison; great-grandson Jayden Thomison; two sisters, Margaret Freeze, Sandra Hrabovsky, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held July 29, 2021, from 9:00am-9:00pm. Rosary recited at 7:00pm Tuesday, July 29, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Friday, July 30, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by interment at Rockport Cemetery.
