Phyllis Ann (Cox) Smith

Phyllis Ann Smith passed away on March 14, 2023. She was 77 years old. She was born February 12, 1946 in Fulton, Texas to Willard and Annie Cox.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard M. Cox Sr. and Annie Cox-Duncan; her husband, John David Smith; granddaughter, Alisha Marie Smith; and brother, Willard Cox Jr.

She is survived by sons, Jeffrey Smith of Waco, Texas, and James Smith (Karen) of San Jose, California; daughter, Laurie Adams-Keyes of Robstown, Texas; brothers, Taddy Cox of Fulton, Texas, Terry Cox (Phyllis) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Danny Cox (Jeri) of Fulton, Texas, and Andy Cox of Fulton, Texas; sisters, Clara Lee Cox of Baytown, Texas, Sissy Mills (Bill) of Rockport, Texas, and Cathy Cannon (Keith) of Georgetown, Texas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Cox of Rockport, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. The funeral service will be Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport. Burial will follow at the Fulton Cemetery.
