Patricia Smaridge

Patricia Louise "Glorious Victorious" Smaridge 82, of Port Aransas, TX passed away peacefully January 1, 2022 at her daughters home. Born May 29, 1939 in Houston to Clarence and Dorothy Inez Clements, she was a 1957 graduate of Milby High School. After graduating, she went on to do many great things in her life, but she would tell you that her greatest accomplishments were her children and especially grandchildren.

Getting to travel across the United States and live in many beautiful places over the years, in 1997 she and her husband Eric made Port Aransas home, shortly thereafter they started Port Aransas Taxi Company. Anyone who met her, also met her infectious spirit, huge heart and Texas sized smile. If you had the honor of being in her circle then you were blessed with a friend, sister and constant prayer warrior. Although praising God and singing & dancing were her passions, family was her biggest. Over the years of taxi service, she became affectionately known as "Ms. Pat" by the locals. She had a motto... If you're good to me then I'll be good to you. And if you were to ask her how she was, she would reply with "Simply Maaavelous".

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eric and daughter, Karen Salvaggio.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory, her children, Joseph Salvaggio (Tricia) of Helotes, TX, Leah Smaridge (Pete Gonzalez) of San Antonio, TX, Sherri Salvaggio of Castroville, TX, Kevin Salvaggio of Corpus Christi, TX; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.

Visitation will be held from 9am-1:30pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, TX. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. Burial will be private.
