Michael Arnold

Michael James Arnold passed away peacefully the morning of September 8, 2021 at home in Port Aransas, Texas.

Mike is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sheryl Arnold. His sons Michael Arnold II (Tonya), and Nathan Arnold (Tiffanie). Grandchildren Michael III (Ashley), Tyler, Sailor, Wyatt, Jacob, Wrett, and one great grandson, Mikey IV. He is survived by his sister, Janice McClendon of Euless, TX, and three brothers, Rodney Arnold (Debbie)of Boswell, OK , Steven Arnold (Debbie) of Naples, FL., and Richard Arnold (Marie) of Hickory Creek, TX, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by daughter, Sarah Arnold, parents Leslie and Elderene(Layne) Arnold, sister Amanda Hargrove, and brother in-law Bill McClendon.

He and Sheryl moved to Port Aransas in 1989 with their family, where they opened and operated Sandollar Services and Sandollar Sity. Mike never met a stranger, he loved to sit and talk with people, ride his motorcycle, and later in life, working on his ranch.

Funeral services will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes in Aransas Pass, Texas. Viewing will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4-6pm. Funeral service to be held Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00am. No graveside service will follow as Mike wished to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Foundation in his name.
