Kathy Lyn Vian,45, peacefully went to join the Lord and her parents in Heaven on December 29, 2020. She was also looking forward to reuniting with her beloved dog, Shadow. She was born to Charles and Connie Grewe on February 21, 1975, in Willmar, Minnesota. She attended elementary through high school there. She graduated from Willmar High School in 1993. She was a cheerleader for wrestling and basketball. She attended classes at the local community college for criminal justice and she continued her secondary education online.

Kathy fell in love with and then married Timothy Vian on September 28, 2004. They have one child together, Gabriella Grace. Gabriella will always be her pride and joy. In 2008, she ventured to a warmer climate with her family, her parents, and her sister’s family. She enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, and being with her family and friends. She loved to cook, bake, and quilt. She was known to bake goodies for her husband’s co-workers now and again.

Kathy was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Rockport, Texas. A private family service will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Vian, by her daughter, Gabriella Vian and by her sister, Susan Schneider, brother-in-law, Michael Schneider and her nephew, Jake Schneider, all from Rockport, Texas. She is also survived by her beloved dogs and cats.

Kathy’s gift of gab and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
