Juanito Rodriguez

Juanito “Juan” Rodriguez, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2021, at the age of 71. Juan was born on July 8, 1949, in Robstown, Texas to Paula and Mario Rodriguez.

He is preceded in death by both his parents; brothers, Manuel, Martin, and Jesus Rodriguez.

Juan was the man, the myth, and the legend. He was the most interesting man in the world. He was a Vietnam Veteran, who could tell you stories for days. He was a fatherlike figure who loved all young and old. He was Uncle Juan. He was everyone’s, Uncle Juan. He had not one hateful bone in his body and never argued with anyone. He was a smoker, a joker, and a midnight toker.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, son, Chris Rodriguez (Chelsea); brother, Mario Rodriguez; sisters, Maria Wright, Elva Ramagos, Alice Hernandez, Yolanda Hernandez, Sylvia Rodriguez; grandchildren, Bailee, Brycen, and Bentley; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and many friends.

Juan will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport. Burial will be private.
