Jose Moroles

Jose Elizondo Moroles was born on June 20, 1931, in Apodaca Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Mexico.

Passed away on May 31, 2021 at place of residence in Rockport, Texas.

Jose is retired from his profession working in optometry in Dallas, Texas and moved to Rockport in 1979 to semi- retire, continued working alongside his son Jesus Bautista Moroles in Rockport, traveled the U.S. after assisting his son Jesus with his artwork exhibitions, including attending his son Jesus National Gold Medal Ceremony at the White House in 2008. Jose loved Rockport he was an avid Fisherman, wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.

He is preceded in death by Parents, Hilario Moroles and Concepcion Elizondo; wife, Maria Bautista Moroles; brother, Santos Moroles; sisters, Josefa Viera, Josefina Tapia, and Socorro Luga; sons, Jesus Bautista Moroles and Joe Silverio Moroles; three grandsons.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, Maria Christina Moroles, Diane Moroles, Hilario Moroles, Suzanna Moroles (Kurt Kangas); Nine grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren; One great-great- grandchild.

Our beloved father and grandfather will be deeply missed.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Rockport Beachfront Pavilion, Rockport Beach Park. Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Fulton Cemetery located at 316 Myrtle St. Rockport, Texas 78382
