John David Price, 57 of Ingleside, TX passed away January 4, 2022. He was born in Natchitoches, LA on October 21, 1964. John Graduated from Aransas Pass and received his High School diploma. He was married to Tonya Lee Price on February 4, 2008.
John “Donkey” Price served and protected our country for 20+ years through many different deployments ranging from the 80’s to 2014. He served as a Combat Engineer, Sergeant and role model were just a few titles he was given during his time with the Army. He was a proud member of the 836th Engineer (Snapper) Company. Once John was eventually given an Honorable Discharge on May 19, 2014 he had an array of many different medals and accomplishments, too many to name. John’s civilian career included being a maintenance mechanic at places such as Sherwin Alumina, CCC Group and Voestalpine Texas LLC. There is no doubt John loved his country and the people near and far from him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.O. Price, Mary Price and brother, Bobby Price.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Price; daughters, Payton Price, Tierra Robles (Frankie, Jr.); grandchildren, Miguel robles and Liliana Robles; sister, Mary Parkman (Richard); brother, Jack Price (Marilyn).
A gathering of friends and family will begin at 10:00a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00a.m. conducted by Pastor James Hudson at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass followed by a service with military honors at 1:00p.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi.
