Jewell Domengeaux

Jewell Sheive Domengeaux, 99, born May 17, 1920, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, December 24, 2019.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, J.B. Domengeaux; parents, Lillie Lee and Andrew Green Sheive; 4 brothers, Bill, Archie, Aubrey and John; 6 sisters, Viola, Velma, Lela, Dorothy, Lila and Lois; Step son-in-law, Leon Bateman

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sandra Domengeaux (John) Jewett II; grandson, John “Trey” (Renee) Jewett III; stepchildren, Lionel (Linda) Domengeaux; Claudia Domengeaux Bateman; Step grandchildren, Becky Hoffman, Pam Boerst and Shawn (Lori) Bateman, along with many loving nieces and nephews of the Sheive and Domengeaux families.

Jewell will be greatly missed, but always remembered for the smile she gave freely, to everyone, and the love she had for her Lord, family and friends.

The family would like to extend many thanks to Dr. Stan Haun and the entire staff at Gulf Pointe Plaza for their loving kindness and care of our mother.
