James Maddox

James Terry Maddox III left this world peacefully on October 27, 2021. Farewell loving husband, father, father-in-law, Tada, brother, uncle and friend.

Terry was preceded in death by: his parents, Jim and Ruth Maddox, and his in-laws, Andy and Mickie Habib. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Cindy, two sons JT (Kelly) Maddox and Jason Maddox, his brothers Todd and Troy Maddox, granddaughters Avery and Kayla Maddox, sisters in-law Sharon (Frank) Endres, Andrea (David) Matney, and Janet (Jeff) Smith, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Terry served as the youngest Corpus Christi police officer from 1971-1977. He then completed his career with Citgo Refining Company until his retirement in 2018.

A small, private memorial and celebration of life was held in memory of God's beautiful soul. He will be placed in his final resting place at a later time.
