On Good Friday, April 15, 2022, our beloved sister Isabel Jimenez went home to heaven. She was the greatest sister we could have ever been blessed with and she was for us also a second mother. She was an example of heroic virtue and deep faith. She loved all of us and all her friends with deep devotion. We are joyful that she is now with our parents Jesse and Magdalena Jimenez, and all our deceased siblings, especially Virginia Jimenez who also went home recently. Isabel goes home to the God whom she loved and served all her life. She anxiously longed to see the Lord Jesus and to be embraced by the Blessed Mother to whom she was always completely devoted throughout her life. We know she will be with us always.
Isabel is survived by her siblings, Johnny Jimenez, Moses Jimenez, Abraham Jimenez (Janie), Rev. Emilio Jimenez, Daniel Jimenez, Paul Jimenez, Elizabeth Gonzalez (Joe), Pete Jimenez, Jesse Jimenez, Jr. (Steffanie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Sincere thanks to all her friends and the members of the Schoenstatt Family for their constant support and prayers. May God bless all of you for your kindness.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church for the new rectory.
