Helen Lehman

Helen M “Skip” Lehman, 90, passed peacefully January 6, 2020 in Rockport, Texas. She was born October 15, 1929 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Loyal James and Phranie M (Rice) Bupp.

She was married to Charles B Measel of Evans City, Pennsylvania in 1949 and two sons and one daughter were blessed of this marriage, Rick, Randy and Carletta Measel. Mrs. Lehman was later married to John W Lehman of Pennsylvania in 1967 where they lived in New Mexico for several years before retiring on the South Texas coast together.

She is preceded in death by first husband Charles Measel, second husband John Lehman, sister Mildred, and her son Rick Measel of New Mexico.

She is survived by her son Randy Measel of Pennsylvania and daughter Carletta Stout of Rockport, Texas, 5 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Tasha, Sarah, Jessica, April and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lehman will always be remembered as a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother and she always knew how to make others laugh with her wit and spunky attitude. She will be greatly missed.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
