Our beloved mother, Emma A. Adame, longtime resident of Rockport TX went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 81. She was a loving mother, friend, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her loving children, Ramiro Ortiz, Sr., Domingo Ortiz, Sr., Raymond Ortiz, Sr., Jay Ortiz all of Rockport, TX, Augustine Ortiz, Sr. (Lesa), of Nursery, TX; Emily Robillard (Thomas), Mary Jane Thompson (Gary), Isabel Jedlicka (Derek), Ofelia Ortiz (Ivan) all of Rockport, TX, Micaela Brooks (Bob) of Olney, Illinois, Sue Coggeshall (Ted) of Saginaw, Michigan, Hope Regalado (Alex) of San Antonio, TX, stepson, Jesus Adame, Jr. of Wharton, TX; sister, Juanita Gonzales of Rockport, TX; brothers, Antonio Valdez (Connie) of Hitchcock, TX, Frank Valdez of Aransas Pass, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Our beloved mother loved the word of God, she would share tidbits of what she had learned from her favorite pastor/teacher on TV, Dr. Charles Stanley. The focus was mainly for us to be like Jesus, loving, compassionate, patient, humble, all that our Savior, our future and hope represents. One of her favorite Bible scriptures that she had displayed in her home in several areas was Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6 Surely Your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
