Denise Wagner

Denise Haley Wagner, 67, daughter of the late Yvonne and Joe Haley, born on June 17, 1953 passed away peacefully in her home in Aransas Pass, TX on May 5, 2021.

She was a graduate of Aransas Pass High School in 1972. Denise went on to work in her family business. She was married to her soul mate Albert Wayne Wagner on November 25, 1974 in Houston, TX. They were married for 43 years.

Denise continued the family tradition with Albert helping him run and operate Wagner's Carnival. She was always right beside him making decisions about the business. Denise was one of the hardest workers the show business had seen. She was still making cotton candy up until her last days. Denise loved her children and would do anything for them. She volunteered at schools and was involved in their activities. She was a friend to many and always willing to be there for them with whatever they needed. Denise loved to go shopping, out to eat, out to the movies, taking vacations, and spending time with her grandkids.

Denise is survived by her Children Jason and his wife Roxann, Haley and her husband Abe, Albert II and his wife Brittany, Sisters Machelle "Potsy" Hunter and Cindy Coleman, Grandchildren Anthony, Logan, Maverick, Kayla, Brody, Ashlyn, and Cash, Great Grandchildren Aaron, Alek, and Parker, Close Friends Art and Susie Moss, Brother-in-law Ralph Wagner, Sister-in-law Marguerite Hovis and Patsy Ivey and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00p.m.-8:00p.m. with family present from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.

Funeral service conducted by Pastor Aaron Jayne will begin at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
