It is with profound sadness, that the family of, Connie “Kitty” Miller announce that she passed away, in the early morning hours of, December 26, 2020 at home, comforted by her loving husband and close family at the age of 69 years, in Rockport, Texas.
Kitty was born January 22, 1951 in New Orleans, LA to the late Maxine and James Stevens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maxine and James Stevens; six of her siblings, Wayne Stevens; Donna Flatt; Wenonah Ashley; Carolyn Payne; Danny Stevens and Jamie Stevens; two grandchildren, Clayton Miller and Colten Lauterbach.
Survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Larry Miller; two daughters, Katherine (James) Lauterbach; Kimberly (Steven) Dees; stepdaughter, Deborah (Daryl) Anderson; stepson Brandon Miller; grandchildren, Lacey (Forrest) Rolfson; Brylee (Hayley) Miller; Reagan (Brandon) Padier; Megan Lauterbach; Lurie Tate; Joseph Villareal; Bailey Molina; Philadelphia Anderson and Dallas (Courtney) Anderson; sister, Lavada Tawater; brother, Patrick Stevens; ten great grandchildren and many more friends and loved ones.
Kitty’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of her kind spirit and zest for life will live on through them. She was committed to her family, always making sure that all knew of her love and support to achieve their highest potential. There is no denying that Kitty was born to be a devoted wife and compassionate mother.
Too well loved to ever be forgotten.
As requested by Kitty, there will not be a viewing or service prior to her cremation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Kitty’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Del Cielo Hospice, for all the help and support throughout her time at home. Del Cielo made Kitty’s final moments comforting and family oriented, just like she hoped for.
