Carolyn Sue Crjlenko (Shultz), of Rockport, Texas, passed away September 8, 2022.
She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on May 31, 1943 to Orley and Jewell Shultz. Carolyn was a hard worker and spent many years in the restaurant business. She also spent many years as a property manager and after retiring from management, she found that she couldn’t handle being idle so she went back to work at Wal-Mart. Never one to sit still, Carolyn always needed to be busy.
Carolyn loved living on the coast and liked spending her spare time cruising the streets of Rockport to admire the beauty around her. She was an excellent cook and it brought her joy to cook for her family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Tommy Winningham, her son Phillip Shultz and her grandson Colten Lauterbach.
She is survived by her son Michael Shultz (Carla) and daughter Kimberly Lauterbach; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Candice, Cameron, Reagan and Megan; her great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Krew, Sidney, Spencer, Hazel, Leighton and Parker; and one great-great grandson, Dane. Carolyn dearly loved them all; she called them her “sweeties.”
No formal funeral service will be held. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
