Yvonne Mitchell

Yvonne Riojas Mitchell sadly passed away July 31, 2021. She was born April 1, 1964 at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA to Enrique and Estella Riojas. Yvonne is preceded in death by her son Aaron Buenano, sister Norma Riojas Quinones and parents, Enrique and Estella. Yvonne leaves behind her loving husband Jackie Mitchell and her daughter who she loved endlessly, Kim Martin (Rodney). Three beautiful grandchildren who made her world so much brighter, Keyandra Buenano, Chloe Munoz and Lailani Martin. As well as her family; brothers Johnny Riojas, Roy Riojas Sr., (Richanne) and sisters; Irma Salinas (Hector), Hilda Cantu and Grace Riojas all of Rockport. A tribe of nieces and nephews who loved her greatly as well as Yvonne’s furbabies, Baby cakes and Missy and grand cats, Honeybear and Midnight.

To know Yvonne was to love her. Always outspoken and true to her words, what you see is what you get when it came to Yvonne. She was full of courage with the biggest fight and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Yvonne’s light will never dim as she lives strong in all the people she ever touched.
