Wynell Mclain

Wynell Pauline North McLain passed away at the age of 85 years old on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  She was born on March 5, 1936, attended Blooming Grove High School in Blooming Grove, TX and later moved to Rockport to begin her journey of life with her husband, Del McLain of 67 Years.

Wynell worked for Key Allegro Real Estate for 38 years.  She started as a secretary for Carl Krueger, then moved into rentals while studying for her real estate license.  She was a very successful realtor with generations of buyers and sellers requesting her to represent them.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, loved playing bridge and even took up the game of golf.

Wynell was a lady of class.  Anyone who knew her was touched by her kindness and mild temperament.

She is survived by her husband, Del Pratt McLain, her sisters, Mary Gowan & Carol Dunn (Robert) and her brother Jerry North.  Her children, Patricia Reedy (David) and John Michael McLain (Kim).  Her oldest daughter, Paula Huff passed on February 2, 2022.  Wynell was a grandmother to Desirae Reedy, Allison McLain, and Travis Huff and a great grandmother to six grandchildren all living in Fresno, California.

There will be a Celebration of Lives held in her honor together with her daughter, Paula, at a later date.
