Wilma M. Littleton, 94 of Fulton, Texas passed into the arms of her Loving Lord and Savior, Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was a beloved Mother, Grandparent and Friend.
Wilma, born May 7, 1929 was the youngest of seven children of Zeph and Essie (Rice) Rouquette. She attended Fulton Elementary and graduated High school in Rockport where she was a cheerleader cheering on the Fighting Pirates.
Wilma married Rexford Alton Littleton on Feb. 15, 1949 in Corpus Christi and moved to Houston. They were blessed with 4 children. She was a homemaker for many years, and worked part time with Rex at Melvin Keels Tin Shop. In 1970 they moved back to Fulton into the home she was born in. She worked at the Aransas County Tax office part time during tax season. She also sold Avon for 20 plus years.
She and Rex enjoyed traveling, making stops along the way to check out the sites of the states they visited. They eventually made a trip to Alaska where Dad complained about the mosquitos being larger than they were in Texas. They also enjoyed camping, fishing and crabbing. She enjoyed sewing and loved sitting on her front porch with Rex, where they enjoyed people watching and many visitors stopping by.
She is preceded in death by her parents Zeph & Essie (Rice) Rouquette; husband Rexford Sr. and sons L Rex, and Ricky Littleton; Son-In-Laws Jon Siemsglusz and Wendell McWilliams.
She is survived by daughters Kathleen Siemsglusz and Connie McWilliams; Daughter-In-Law Debbie Littleton; Grandchildren Jeramie (Amber) Zelenka; Christine Loya; Heath (Danielle) Littleton; Zeph Littleton, and Dillon (Paxton) Littleton. Great grandchildren: Abby (Ethan) Townsend; Laramie, Landon & Landry Zelenka; Mia Loya; Hoss & Wyatt Littleton; Teighlor and Zeph Littleton, Jr. Great Great Grandchildren: Lynen and Braxton Townsend and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Jeramie Zelenka; Heath Littleton; Zeph Littleton; Mark Garcia; Ethan Townsend; Dillon Littleton.
Honorary Pallbearers: Landon Zelenka; Landry Zelenka; Hoss Littleton; Wyatt Littleton and Zeph Littleton jr.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Charlie Marshall Funeral Home; 814 E. Main St., Rockport, TX.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family kindly suggests contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Rockport or Harbor Hospice in memory of Wilma Littleton.
