The sun rose for William L. Ulch, Sr., Sept. 8, 1934 and the sun set March 2, 2021, 86 yrs. old Dad (Pops, as we all called him), was one of the few remaining original families of Port Aransas but preferred to keep to himself and was an unsung hero in keeping Port A going back in the day, Electrician by trade, but truly a master of all trades. From keeping traffic lights burning, to a restaurants refrigeration to keep them in operation, usually at the latest of nights. He always answered their calls. John 16:32-33… Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world. Love you, Pops.
Preceded in death by his son Shannon Ulch, Daughter; Judy Broussard, Father and Mother; Marguerite Ulch, Brother; Matthew Scott Ulch (Polly), Sister Margarette Roy (Francis), and many friends that he really cared for, and they or their families know who they are.
William (Bill) is survived by his sister Betty Messina; Children; William Ulch, Jr (Carol), Eric Ulch (Geneva), Sherry Downey (Jeremy), Ronda Broussard, Brian Ulch, and Grandchildren; William Scott Ulch (Polly), Ashton Ulch, Jared Ulch, Kristen Ulch, Connor Ulch (Kaitlin) Jillian Ulch, Sawyer Ulch, Great Grandchildren; Maggie Mae Ulch, Case Matthew Ulch, and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
A Graveside service will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Royal Palms Cemetery, Port Aransas, TX
