William Mayfield

William E. "Billy" Mayfield, Jr., 71, of Aransas Pass, Texas passed away May 19, 2025. Billy was born July 11, 1953 in Hondo, Texas to William E. Mayfield Sr. and Lena Taplin Mayfield.

Billy was a graduate of Refugio High School as well as Texas A & I University where he received a business degree. Billy met and married the love of his life Kathy Williams in August 29, 1975.

He had a long career with Valero Refinery as an instrument fitter were he later retired. Hobbies Billy enjoyed were fishing, hunting, gardening, and BBQ's.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and James Mayfield and nephew Michael Mayfield.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Kathy A. Mayfield, to honor Billy's last wishes no services will be held.
