William Ervin Blasingame

William “Bill” Ervin Blasingame, 62, passed Friday, January 30, 2026 in his Corpus Christi, Tx home. Bill was born February 13, 1963 in Renton, WA to Emma and Wally Blasingame. He spent much of his young, adventurous life in Alaska before the family settled in Ingleside, Tx. He often recounted his peculiar childhood with siblings and friends alike.

He had a quick start in the workforce and found a passion in welding, which took him anywhere that paid good. Welding truly became a lifestyle for Bill as he began the framework for what would later become his life’s work, CCB Fabricators. He put his blood, sweat, tears, and more blood into a small fabrication company that would later grow into an abundant, successful business. He and his partner cultivated CCB to become a powerhouse of honest work and remarkable reputation.

Bill was married to Leslie Blasingame on May 3, 1991. They spent 35 wonderful years with many laughs, chaos, and enjoyment together and with their three loving children: Shonda, Alex, and Adam.

He was one-of-kind. His presence and voice filled the room. Bill had a passion for the outdoors; picking up many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and grilling. You could always find Bill either on the water or on his back porch, drinking a cold Miller Lite and sharing stories of his eccentric life.

Bill is survived by his loving bride, Leslie, and their children, Shonda, Alex, and Adam; favorite grandchild, Brooks; siblings Jerri, Julie, Pete, and Jessica; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Wally.

Bill, his witty attitude, and his rugged spirit will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 9am continued by funeral services at 10am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home (Aransas Pass, Tx).
