Walter Heldenfels Jr.

Walter Dailey Heldenfels, Jr., 83, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1940, in Rockport, Texas, to the late Walter and Genevieve 'Jennie' Heldenfels.

Dailey was a lifelong resident of Lamar and an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from T-C Oil Company after 44 years of service.Dailey's parents, Walter and Genevieve 'Jennie' Heldenfels, and his wife of 55 years, Patricia, preceded him in death. 

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Vega, her husband Rene, and their children, Nicole and Maxwell.

A memorial service will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., with a reception at the funeral home immediately following the service.
