Virgil Keith Geary, born October 16, 1957, passed peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was 68 years old.
Virgil dedicated his life to the craft of carpentry. With steady hands and a meticulous eye, he built more than just structures—he created lasting spaces filled with meaning. His work reflected a deep appreciation for both beauty and function, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship that endures.
He was an avid collector with a passion for coins and antique guns, each item offering a tangible connection to the past. His love for Harley Davidson motorcycles spoke to his independent spirit and fondness for the open road.
Virgil is lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Kasey; his son: Richard Geary and wife Sapphire, daughter: Brandy Ordonez and husband Luis; and his grandchildren: Landon and Elena. He also leaves behind two sisters, a brother, and many nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Geary; his mother, Mollie (Hammond) Hatmaker; and his brother Wade Geary.
Through every project completed and every memory shared, Virgil’s presence continues to resonate. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the spaces he shaped. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery.
