Verna Waldo

Verna Jean Waldo, 77 of Rockport Texas, passed away October 22, 2025.
She was born in Nixa, Missouri on July 6th, 1948. She married Louis Carl Waldo in Rockport Texas. Verna was not only Lou's partner in life but also worked side by side him in his many business ventures. Beyond her professional achievements she was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and hosting her family and friends, spending countless hours with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Lou Waldo and her son Jimmy Chatham, parents David and Helen Holstein. She is survived by her children Billy (Ashley) Chatham, Camarra Chatham, Shelly Chatham. Grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Tori, Bri, and Hayden. The family would also like to thank her caregivers; Stephanie Martinez, Cherokee Saldiva and Elizabeth Peterson. 
 A celebration of life will be held at the Rockport Country Club from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday October 26, 2025.
