Vanessa Barrera

Vanessa Marie Barrera, 34, Ingleside, Texas, passed away May 23, 2022.

She was born in Aransas Pass on December 8, 1987.

She worked for Walmart, Dollar General and became a full-time mom.

She had a passion for art, she loved to draw and paint.

She not only rescued animals, she also rescued everyone around her.

She is survived by her two sons, John David Barrera, Lucas Mac Barrera, and daughter Dorothea Marie Barrera; mom, Clarissa Marie (Bruce Cavallin) Owens; father, Victor Mark (Naomi) Barrera; brothers, Alex Robison, Lucas (Amanda) Morgan, Giovanni Gonzalez, Geremiah Gonzalez, Jarin Gonzalez, Jade Garcia; sister, Ida Robinson, Victoria Barrera, Jasmine Garcia, Jenobia Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M.-8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes.

Funeral Services will at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 10, 2022 internment to follow at Aransas Memorial Park.
