Todd Allan Jackson

Todd A Jackson, 54 of Aransas Pass, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on July 14th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with laughter, adventure, and cherished memories. Born on November 26, 1970, in San Jose, California, Todd was the first son of James David and Deborah Jackson. As a child of a military family, Todd had the opportunity to experience a wide range of cultures and environments, living in various locations across the United State and overseas including Greece and Germany. His family’s final duty station brought them to Vacaville, California where Todd graduated from Vacaville Highschool.

Throughout his life, Todd demonstrated a deep love for adventure, particularly outdoors. He was an avid surfer and skateboarder, and his enthusiasm for outdoor activities extended to kayaking and BMX biking. After spending several years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Todd moved to Corpus Christi to be close to the ocean, a place that resonated with his free-spirited nature and his love of surfing.

In Aransas Pass, Todd built a life and a business that reflected his passion for service and attention to detail. He was the proud owner and operator of Gringo Pool & Spa Services, where he became known for his meticulous work in pool maintenance, specializing in leak detection. His commitment to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of his clients, many of whom became his friends.

At the time of his passing, Todd was looking forward to a new chapter in his life-he and his fiancée, Megan Avilla, were planning to marry in November 2025, they had built a life full of love, joy and shared dreams.

Todds family-his parents James and Deborah Jackson of Bandera, TX, his brother Christopher Jackson and his family (wife Hollie and their children, Christian and Colby Jackson) of Frisco TX, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins-will miss him dearly. He is also survived by three children, Cody, Caidyn, and Abigail Jackson.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held in Todds’s honor, Saturday Sept 13, 2025, at 11 AM, at Bob Hall Pier with a paddle out for his release of ashes on North Padre Island. This will be followed with a gathering at the Briscoe King Pavillion to allow his family and friends to come together to celebrate his memories. His sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy will live on in the countless memories he created with those who he knew and love him.
