Terrell Wayne Holden

Terrell Wayne Holden, born January 18, 1945, entered his eternal rest on November 30, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Terrell lived a life marked by faith, joy, and unwavering love for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sammy Mildred Holden; his father, Lee Wayne Holden; his brother, Jeffrey Merle Holden; and his daughter, Latrice Holden Keller, whom he held forever in his heart.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Jean Holden; his sons, Sean Michael Holden (and his wife Christy Holden) and Travis Wayne Holden; his cherished granddaughters, Ariel Lee Holden, Mallory Alderson (and her Husband Barry Alderson) and Savannah Keller; and his great-grandson, Trevor Alderson, who brought an added light to his later years.

Terrell devoted his working life to the seafood industry, where his dedication and integrity earned the respect of those he encountered. He was also a man deeply grounded in his Baptist faith, attending church faithfully and holding close to God throughout his life.

Music was one of Terrell’s enduring passions. Gifted and disciplined, he played for many years in the Corpus Christi Wind Symphony, finding joy, purpose, and fellowship through music. This passion filled his life with meaning and uplifted everyone blessed to hear him play.

Terrell embraced life with an infectious spirit. Known for his unforgettable laugh, his playful nature, and the joy he brought into every gathering, he was often the life of any event. A true adventurer, he found deep fulfillment exploring the rugged mountains of West Texas, especially the expansive and beautiful Big Bend region, where he searched for fossils and artifacts and reveled in the wonder of creation. He lived each day to the fullest, grateful for every moment.

Above all, Terrell loved his family with a full and loyal heart. He celebrated their achievements, supported them through challenges, and remained a constant source of warmth, steadiness, and love.

His presence will be profoundly missed, yet his legacy of faith, music, adventure, joy, and love will continue to live on in all who knew and cherished him.
