Stanley Parry

Stanley Walter Parry, 87, of Rockport,Texas, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2022. He was born in Silview, Delaware on November 21, 1934.

Stan earned a degree in Business Management from La Salle University. He worked in management at the Pepsi Cola Company for many years before moving into Industrial Uniform Sales.

Stan enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid gardener all of his life. He traveled internationally, and particularly loved traveling by cruise ship. He visited much of the US, happily traversing the country in his RV. However, his true home was the seaside. He enjoyed surf fishing, boating, kayaking, and long strolls on the beach. Stan loved the Lord and his church, donating his time to St. Peter's Episcopal by working at Castaways Thrift Shop. He loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. Stan's life was filled with laughter and fun. He never met a stranger, and was very much loved by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria, his daughter Sharon Elizabeth, his parents, Archibald and Beatrice, his brother Sidney, and sister Ruth Lynch.

Stan is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Barfield and Dorothy P. Stutts, and his children Christine (Mark) Meier, Donna (Floyd) Taylor, Tammy (Ran) Wilson, Russell (Sharon) Parry, and his 8 grandchildren, Micah, Sarah, Mack, Matthew, Mitchell, Spencer, Nick and Allison.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Peters Episcopal Church, Rockport Texas. Date and Time to be announced.
