Sarah Jane Carrier Hibbs, was born June 1, 1950 in Chattanooga Tennessee and passed away in Victoria, Texas on August 4, 2026 at the age of 76.

She grew up on North Beach in Corpus Christi Texas. She went to Roy Miller High School, Delmar College and real estate school. She spent most of her career as a waitress.

She loved flowers, seashells, collectible dolls, expensive perfume, and wildlife. Her heart was big and her smile was warm and bright.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Hibbs; mother, Edna Lou Ybanez; grandmother, Nora Mae O’quinn; brothers, James Carrier and Marcus Ybanez Jr.; nephew Tevin Gross.

Sarah is survived by her sisters, Mary Gonzales, Della Barefield, and Sueann McCrea; brothers, Danny Carrier and Raymond Ybanez; sons Michael Rogers and Reginald Rogers(Amanda); daughter, Tina Rogers(Lloyd Satterfield); grandchildren, Rachel Rogers, Michael “Bubba“ Rogers Jr., Matthew Rogers, Christopher Rowsey, Chloe Rogers, and Reginald Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Roy, Randy, and Roman Charlez, David, Kayden, and Sammy Benavidez, Zayden Barnes, Rayden Rogers, Khoa Rogers, Madelyn Rogers and Amy Rogers; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Aransas Memorial Park in Rockport Texas.
