Samuel Benavides

Samuel Benavides passed away on January 11, 2017. Samuel was born on December 15, 1956, In Premont, TX to Jacinto & Maria Benavides. He was a resident of Rockport and worked from 1983 - 2016 as an EMS, Paramedic, & flight medic with halo flight. He worked with numerous EMS & Paramedics in the area. He was preceded in death by his father, daughter, Valerie Benavides-Simpson, and brother, Albert. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda Benavides of Rockport; son, Ruben (Brigette) Estrada of Rockport; two daughters, Paula (Herbert) Berna of Eureka, Montana and Monica Estrada of Rockport; mother, Maria Benavides of Rockport; brother, Abraham (Alma) Benavides of Agua Dulce, TX; sister, Marta Zarate of San Antonia; six grandchildren, Azely Ortiz, Cheyenne Sanchez, Jake Estrada, Trinity Estrada, Malia Cuellar and Zoe Estrada. and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on January 13, 2017, 3pm-9pm, at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Rockport.
