Roy Rivera Sr.

Roy R. Rivera Sr. Capt. Rocha, age 86, our Daddy passed away on September 6, 2020. He was born to Luciana and Sotero Rivera on August 15, 1934 in Robstown, Tx. Daddy was a devout Catholic a member of the Guadalupanas, and a member of the American GI Forum.

Dad is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Norina C. Rivera and the last of his 8 sibling.

He was a very proud father of his six children, Lucy Rivera; Corina Winter(Andy); Roy Rivera Jr. (Angie);Alma Rivera; Connie Trevino (Steve) and Roland Rivera. His beloved Grandchildren, Tessica Salinas; Stephanie Lopez; Rebecca Field; Jonathan Trevino; Lauren Rivera; Cecily Rivera; Christine Garza; Ethan Rivera; Gabby Rivera; Bethany Rivera; Michael Trevino; Leah Rivera and Chloe Manning, he's also blessed with 20 Great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved pets Lucky & Beyonce of 16 years and Trouble of 2 years.

The family wishes to give special thanks to his caregivers Josie, Rachel and Christi.

Dad loved taking drives to the Fulton and Rockport Beaches to feed the seagulls. He was an avid poker, pool, bingo and lottery player. He loved to feed natures' animals.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 9 PM with the Holy Rosary at 7 PM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Rockport, Tx.

Mass Will be celebrated at 10 AM, Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Rockport Cemetery.
