Ronald Barritt

December 31, 1960 — March 27, 2024

Ronald Barritt, affectionately known as Shane, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth began on December 31, 1960, and after a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness, he peacefully departed from Corpus Christi on March 27, 2024.

Shane's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family and friends. His beloved wife Carrie L Barritt, devoted daughter Cj Barritt, and caring son-in-law Randy Yates, hold him close in their hearts. In this time of mourning, they find solace in the precious moments shared together.

Among those mourning his loss are also his sister Kathy Panerelli, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who were touched by his warmth and generosity throughout the years.

In the quiet embrace of remembrance stand Shane's deceased family and friends; his father James Barritt, mother Mary Andre's, brother Freddie Harris, brother Johnny Harris, and sister Spril Hamblem. Their spirits now reunite with his in a realm beyond our own, where love knows no bounds and memories are eternal.

A Memorial Service to honor Shane's life will be held on April 7, 2024, at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory in Rockport. Friends and acquaintances are invited to pay their respects between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This gathering will serve as a testament to the profound impact Shane had on all who crossed paths with him.

As we bid farewell to a soul so dear to us all, let us carry forward the light of Shane's spirit - one that illuminated countless lives during his time among us. May his kindness and compassion continue to inspire acts of goodness in the world he leaves behind. Ronald Barritt will dwell forever in our hearts as a beacon of love and cherished memories.
