Robert "Bob" Weber,76, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2023. Robert was born on February 27,1947, to parents, Robert S. and Anne Weber Sr. in Washington, DC.

Preceded in his death is his parents, Robert S. and Anne Weber Sr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Diana " Dee Dee" Weber; sister, Diana "Sandy" Weber; brother, Felipe "Timmy" Gonzalez (Mona); nieces, Chelsea Gonzalez, Brenna Blythe (Kris); great niece, Vivan Lou Blythe.

Bob was very loving, caring and always had a smile on his face. He was loved by everyone that knew him. He would always help whenever he was asked or volunteered by his wife DeeDee, which was all the time.

Bob grew up in Falls Church, VA. After High School, he entered the Naval Academy and was there for one year, where he played football. After that he found his way to the University of Richmond and graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. His first job was working for Phillip Morris, as a manager, in the cigarette plant. After that he decided to move to Texas following his parents and sister. He worked several jobs and then was hired by Southwestern Bell (which is now AT&T). Bob met his beautiful wife DeeDee while working there. They had been married for 34 years.

Bob retired from AT&T in 2000 and retired to Aransas Pass in 2001. This has been his home since.

He and his wife got involved in the community shortly after moving here. He was a founding member of the Aransas Pass Yacht Club, Commodore of the Power Squadron, President of the Bay Harbor Channel Owners Association and was still very involved with the operations. Bob served as Captain of the Corpus Christi Table of the Brotherhood of the Coast. This fraternity is a tight knot group who celebrate the love of the Sea and bestow Brotherhood names fitting their individual personalities. Bob proudly wore the handle “Walrus”.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and all who know him.
