Ricarda R. Mireles

Ricarda Rodriguez Mireles, 89, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at her home in Aransas Pass, Texas. She was born May 3, 1936, in Selma, Texas to Antonio Rodriguez and Francisca M. Rodriguez. Ricarda was a long-time member at Pentecostal Holiness Church in Aransas Pass.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Augustin Mireles, three sisters, and two brothers. 

Ricarda is survived by two sons: Augustine(Esther) Mireles Jr of Odem, Texas, Andrew(Ellen) Mireles of Austin, Texas; seven daughters: Dolores(Nasario) Flores of San Antonio, Texas, Frances Mendez of Aransas Pass, Texas, Sylvia(Paul) Bustos of Aransas Pass, Texas, Rose(Jose) Hernandez of Dickinson, Texas, Mary(George) Turner of Ingleside, Texas, Norma(Esteban) Sanchez of San Leon, Texas, and Sara Ordaz of Corpus Christi, Texas and one sister Eulalia (Julia) Torres. She had thirty grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, and twenty-six great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass, Texas. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Pentecostal Holiness Church at 303 N 7th Street, Aransas Pass, Texas. Interment to follow at San Antonio Cemetery, Aransas Pass, Texas.
