Rhonda Jean Hall

August 29, 1949 — May 14, 2025

Rhonda Jean Hall (née Sibbald, formerly Caldwell) passed peacefully in her sleep on [Insert Date], leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith.

Rhonda was born on August 29, 1949, in Berkeley, California. She grew up in Northern California and graduated from Fresno State University before pursuing her calling as an OBGYN Nurse Practitioner. Her career was marked by compassion, care, and an unshakeable dedication to others.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hall; her sister, Glenys Caldwell; her three children, Ryan and Brad Sibbald, and her daughter, Molly Bartts. Rhonda will forever be cherished in the hearts of her daughters-in-law, Katie and Tiffany Sibbald, and her six grandchildren: Rylan, Johnathan, Lexi, Maddie, Saige, and Siena. She also leaves behind many beloved friends and extended family whose lives were touched by her grace and kindness.

Rhonda raised her children in Santa Rosa, California, with her first husband, Scott Sibbald. Following her first battle with cancer in 1995 and the culmination of her first marriage, she found love again with her soulmate, Richard, in 1996. Together, they built a beautiful, faith-filled life across Carlsbad, NM; Junction, TX; Roseburg, OR; and finally, Aransas Pass, TX.

Rhonda was a woman of many gifts-an amazing cook, a skilled craftswoman (known for her quilts, sewing, and crochet), a singer, an award-winning Bichon Fríse dog breeder, a nature lover, a faithful Christian, and a true romantic. Always ready to serve, always eager to share, she gave with a joyful heart and expected nothing in return. Her happiness was rooted in making others feel seen, loved, and uplifted.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Caldwell and Jean and George Zelazo, as well as her brother, Brenton Caldwell.

A celebration of Rhonda's life will be held in Northern California at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Church in Rockport, Texas-an extension of the faith she held dear.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that the Lord has called this incredible woman home. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."

- Proverbs 31:25-26
