Raymundo Jimenez

Raymundo R. Jimenez, 77, of Ingleside, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, July 14, 2017 in Aransas Pass, Texas. He was born on April 13, 1940 in Refugio, Texas to Jose and Cresencia Jimenez.

Raymundo is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maria Lopez Jimenez; son, Raymundo B. Jimenez Jr., Ismael Lozano and Emiterio Lopez. He is survived by his sons, Joel Rodriguez and Joe A. Jimenez (Deborah); daughters Angelica Rodriguez (Juan), Esmeralda Ramirez, Cresencia J. Sandoval (Baltazar), Diana Chacon (Sam) and Susie Jimenez; brothers, Joe Jimenez and Inez Jimenez (Lupe); twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Raymundo was a loving father, brother, grandfather and a dear friend to so many. He loved his family and was happiest when he was surrounded by them. His love and warmth was felt by any person who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was a great man and although he is gone, his memories and life lessons will remain in our heart forever.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 9am -9pm with an evening service beginning at 7pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10am. All services will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Interment to follow at San Ignacio Cemetery.
