Raul Pena

Our beloved father Raul "Rudy" Pena passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023, at the age of 78. He is survived by his four children. He was born to Julio and Manuela Pena in Rockport on December 4, 1944. Rudy never met a stranger and he loved to tell stories with anyone who would listen. Rudy married Carolyn Ann Chupe on July 17, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas. He leaves behind his children Regina Romero, spouse Joe Romero, Teresa Comeaux, spouse Vance Comeaux, Bernadette Herrera, spouse Richard Herrera, Gabriel Pena as well as his sister Lydia Mejorado, spouse Tony Mejorado. Rudy had 11 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 3 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Julio and Manuela Pena, his wife Carolyn Ann Pena, stepbrothers Benito Arispe, Joe Arispe, Lupe Arispe and sister Esparanza Martinez. The viewing will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, TX, November 4, 2023, at 10 am - 5 pm. All friends and family are welcome.
