He passed away peacefully with the person who made his final years filled with true love and happiness, Rebeca Flores.

Kevin is remembered as someone who worked hard with every job he had and deeply cared for anyone he worked with.  Kevin was well known in the north end of Wichita and enjoyed attending sporting events with his family.   He worked at the Wichita Greyhound Park where he taught many proteges and his own children what a work ethic really was and enjoyed the quality time spent with them.  He was employed with the Rockport Country Club. Every job Kevin did was done with a spirited, hard-working attitude. Kevin was humbled in knowing that he would do any job without any complaints. His hardworking attitude is a legacy that will carry on through many generations.

Kevin had a love for sports. He loved golf, the Kansas City Chiefs, KU basketball, Wichita Thunder Hockey, and the Kansas City Royals. Kevin was happiest when his chiefs won the Superbowl in 2020. Kevin carried out the Ashpole tradition of the love of wrestling. He trained all his sons to be disciplined wrestlers. It is through this that his sons have given the same training to their children, his grandkids. His history with sports will continue to have a deep impact on future generations.

Kevin was loved by so many nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers, ones that will forever remember his caring and loving demeanor. Whether giving a shoulder to lean on or just encouragement, he left a mark on us all.  We will deeply miss our Dad, Brother, Son, Friend, and my one true love.
